The Fault in our Stars, John Green

This book is a sad book on a lot of the scenes because the plot is a very thin line for a plot and there is a lot of room to go wrong and I feel like John Green didn't, he put in comic relief in the places that it needed it. The plot line was good overall and it was very creative compared to a lot of other books.  overall I would say anybody should read this book. I really enjoyed it. This story mainly revolves around Hazel a 16 year old that has been diagnosed with cancer. Her parents force her to got to a support camp and when she is there she meets Augustus, he is also a 16 year old. This is the main plot and beginning, if you would like to read it then go get it because I would really really suggest it to anybody.

Catching Fire By Susan Collins SOL 11/31

I bet almost all of you guys out there have read this book, I read The Hunger Games and then the next week we went into book groups so I never got to read Catching Fire. Over all, I really liked this book it is a lot like The Hunger Games, i liked the writing more in hunger games but I really liked how it added a kind of mystery effect and the games were actually harder to figure out. If you haven't read this book it is an fiction action/ adventure book, it is around 350 pages, and I would recommend it to any one, a lot of people have read it and will most likely feel the same way about the book as I do. I would recommend reading the first book, but it isn't necessary.

This book is the second book of the Hunger Games and I can really say a lot about what it is about but it is about Katniss and Peta, both from District 12 in Panem, the time is set in the future and there are 12 Districts, each one has is different. There is a Capitol that hosts each annual hunger games which is a fight to the death between twenty four people from the ages of 13 and up, there are two people from each district and Katniss and Peta are participating in the 75th Hunger games. I can't say anything else without giving up the first book, but I recommend it, it is really good!

Half Brother by Kenneth Oppel / SOL 4/31

This book is well I don't know what the genre is, I liked it, was an out of the box book, not something that I would normally find and decide to read but it was recommend by Max V.S. It is a different book, its not normal but I liked it. This book is around 350 pages and I would recommend it to anyone. It involves a 13 year old hid so it is slightly relatable but the main topic isn't very relatable, but what ever thats away from the point, I liked it read it its good.

This book is about a 13 year old boy and he is a single child and he as you may be able to tell gets a brother, but not a normal brother his new brother is a chimpanzee. You may be wondering, how does he get a chimpanzee, his dad is a scientist and he is having a test to see if his half brother Zan will be able to talk. Ben's parents tell him to treat him as a younger brother, so he does, it is a odd book overall but I liked it as a book that is out of the box.
