Chomp By Carl Hiaasen

Carl Hiaasen has always been an author that I really liked, he wrote the books Hoot, Scat, Flush, and those are just the more kid or teenage friendly books. Overall I really like Hiaasen as a writer, he bases majority of his books in Florida and he is a funny writer not all of his books are funny, but he adds funny parts in his serious books so they are not as dull. I this is a good trait in a book in my perspective and makes the boring parts entertaining. this book was a lot like the others, it had funny moments which make it entertaining. It is an adventure book so it has less boring parts but when there are boring parts they are made entertaining. it is a different idea for a book, that is more outside of the box.

This book is about Wahoo and his dad Micky, Micky is a animal wrangler. They were hired to star on a survival show, which is very serious for them, I imagine that it would be like a Bear Grylls show, they reference that show a few times, giving me that reference. Overall this book is like an adventure survival book with a little bit of action, which I really like, I highly recommend it it is a fairly quick read, its funny, pretty much the whole package in my perspective. READ IT NOW.

Book Blog for Number the Stars, Lois Lowery

Number the Stars book cover.jpegThis is a book about Nazi Germany, its a very sad book to read, kind of like all Nazi stories. This book was for my child's classic, not really a child's book but it is very small. Its around 130 pages with pretty small text and i would consider it a very quick read. This book is a historical fiction, written by Lois Lowery, also well known for her really good book which i also recommend The Giver. This book is a sad but good book showing the issues of Nazis and WWII overall. I liked this book as a whole, it is slow at some parts, but it is really interesting, I would recommend it to anyone that likes Jewish Nazi books.

This is a book about a ten year old girl named Annemarie Johansen, and the story is set in, Copenhagen, Denmark during a Nazi occupation it starts off when Annemarie and her best friend Ellen (Ellen is Jewish) are walking home from school and they get stopped by solders, it wasn't much of a big deal and it didn't occupy them for that long but their parents were very worried, because they had herd that the solders were shutting down Jewish stores. This book overall is just about the issues of the Nazis and I don't want to say to much because it could give it away, but i hope you read it it is a good book.

Lengend, Marie Lu

Just to say right now if you like action books this is for you. This book is about June a fifteen year old  agent that works for the government and she is sent on a mission to capture Day. Day is a very, very bad criminal and he is accused of murdering June's older brother, this is the main reason why June is going after him. June is under cover as a poor woman, on her way looking for Day. Through the game book there are some plot switches so be ready for that.

Overall I loved this book. i have been reading a lot of books out of my comfort zone and this book is back into that zone. It is a action book full of well, just a classic action book with chases and fight scenes. I don't know why I love action books. This book just seems like there is always something important happening in each moment. I don't like slow books and this is the opposite of that. I recommend this book to anyone that likes action packed books and parkour and stuff like that. This is a series book, Prodigy is the second.
