Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury

I don't have much to say about this book, just besides my opinion on it and how felt about it. Overall, I liked this book, from the beginning I knew what it was about and I had a good understanding of the ending/ what happens overall in the book. I feel like me understanding it kind of ruined it, I feel that way about all books, the ending is the best for every book, and when you know the ending it ruins it, like if you knew the ending of Dante and Aristotle (I hope I spelled that right) because we are going to read it tomorrow. In conclusion, I liked the book overall, and in my opinion i think that it is a good "classic." If you want to know what it is about scroll down to see my last post explaining it.

Fahrenheit 451 By Ray Bradbury

This is a really good book from what i have read so far I'm about 3/4 of the way through the book and I like it a lot, it is about a man named Guy Montag (I have no idea how to pronounce that) and he lives in a distopian world. Bradbury never really sets a place or time, just some time in the future of 1953 (when the book was published). Books are disregarded in this society, and "firemen" burn any that they found. In the beginning Guys wife has an overdose and she loses his memory. He goes to work one day and he and his coworkers are going to a house filled with books, the lady inside refusing to give them up. with out any of his coworkers seeing he slips a book and he is planing to keep it. Afterwards, the woman would not give up her books so she lit a match and set her self on fire. I'm not going to go into to much depth about this but I think that you should read it, it is a really good book so far.

Water for Elephants

This book is 330 ish page book, fairly long for a one week book but its ok because it really interesting and right from the first few pages it drags you in by reveling the fact that the main character Jacob a 23 year old man studding in veterinary schools parents have died in a fatal car accident. This book isn't about the action, it is more of a drama book. This is another genre that is out of the box for me! I liked this book i would give this a 8 out of 10, just because it wasn't my normal I still liked it a lot. I would recommend it to anybody that likes drama.

This book, like i said in the beginning its about a 23 year old man named Jacob and his parents have just died, he has no place to live because they mortgaged their house to pay for his tuition. He has a total breakdown and becomes super stressed. without event thinking he decides to jump on a train and run away, this is just before his graduation. The train was a circus train and the head leader named Uncle Al learns to train him to work for the circus. This book is about his circus experience.

The 5th Wave, By Rick Yancey

This book is around 500 pages and it would be a medium read for a two week book but I read it over break. I really loved this book it was really entertaining and it draws you in really often. even the back description draws you in "After the 1st wave, only darkness remains. After the 2nd, only the lucky escape. And after the 3rd, only the unlucky survive. After the 4th wave, only one rule applies: trust no one." How amazing does that sound it drags you in to see what the 5th wave is like. over all I loved this book i give it a A or a 9 out of 10.

16 year old Cassie Sullivan is trying to survive the alien invasion destroying all civilization except around 1% she has to find her brother and survive on her own there are aliens patrolling everywhere looking for any survivors. Cassie's thought is to stay alone to keep alive.
