The Boy in the Striped Pajamas By John Boyne

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas By John Boyne
I liked this book a lot, although it was sad I still liked it.   It is about 210 pages it is a reasonably short book and the font is about medium sized. It is a medium reading level but like in majority of the books I have read so far there are a lot of boring scenes. The genre is a fiction historical book about the holocaust. I liked this book a lot because I like a book about history and the holocaust books are very interesting. In general I liked the book a lot because of just the topic in general.
This book goes throughout the life of a nine year old boy named Bruno during World War II and the Holocaust. Bruno’s father is a Nazi and he works for Adolf Hitler, his father moves towards a concentration camp but Bruno and Gretel (his twelve year old sister) are completely unaware of what is going on. One day after they moved Bruno decided to adventure in their back yard and he finds a young boy and he seemed to be behind a fence. Bruno ended up finding out that he was a young boy about the same age but he was Jewish in a concentration camp his name was Shmuel and this book shows his adventures with him.

Silver Linings Playbook

The Silver Linings Playbook, By Matthew Quick. Matthew Quick was the writer of Forgive me Lenard Peacock.
This book is about 300 pages with about medium sized font and about a medium reading level, it is a fiction romantic drama.

Pat Solitano the main character is just coming out of an mental heath facility and later moving in with his parents in New Jersey  He went to the facility because his wife Nikki  was cheating on him with his coworker and he almost beats him to death. through a mutual friend Ronnie Pat goes to a diner and meats Tiffany. Tiffany has also just moved back to New Jersey after her husband died. Pat has been working out to get in good shape  so he can have better chances on get back together with Nikki. Pat and Tiffany start running together and she asked him for help with something. What could it be?

I liked this book a lot, i mainly read action or adventure books, this book was obviously not that, but i still really liked it. There were some scenes that were a little bit graphic, so if you are Worried about that be looking out for it. There were also scenes that were slow and boring. In general i really like it. It is dramatic and a little bit romantic so if you are looking for that it is a book that you will like!

My next book is: The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

Life of Pi

This is my weekly blog, this week I read "The Life of Pi," by Yann Martel. This book is a fiction adventure book. It includes the main characters Pi Patel and a tiger named Richard Parker, Pi worked at a the zoo with his family, and Richard Parker stayed at it. When they were on a ship it started raining really hard and it started to sink and Pi and Richard Parker both fell off and ended up on a boat, and the book is mainly about they're survival. People that like adventure and a little bit of action will like this book a lot. It is a long book for one week its about 400 pages, I read it in around a full week. I liked this book a lot, it had a slow start, but i liked it. I first thought of reading from Aaron's page, thanks.
