Book Blog for Number the Stars, Lois Lowery

This is a book about Nazi Germany, its a very sad book to read, kind of like all Nazi stories. This book was for my child's classic, not really a child's book but it is very small. Its around 130 pages with pretty small text and i would consider it a very quick read. This book is a historical fiction, written by Lois Lowery, also well known for her really good book which i also recommend The Giver. This book is a sad but good book showing the issues of Nazis and WWII overall. I liked this book as a whole, it is slow at some parts, but it is really interesting, I would recommend it to anyone that likes Jewish Nazi books.

This is a book about a ten year old girl named Annemarie Johansen, and the story is set in, Copenhagen, Denmark during a Nazi occupation it starts off when Annemarie and her best friend Ellen (Ellen is Jewish) are walking home from school and they get stopped by solders, it wasn't much of a big deal and it didn't occupy them for that long but their parents were very worried, because they had herd that the solders were shutting down Jewish stores. This book overall is just about the issues of the Nazis and I don't want to say to much because it could give it away, but i hope you read it it is a good book.
